Todays article in the Telegraph Review looked at the late mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot's discovery of fractals. Fractals are repeat patterns that grouped together make the same pattern and so on, they can be seen in nearly every aspect of life. Some of the images are very striking and quite spellbinding, I could see the designs being manipulated into my own practice and I think this would be a stimulating field to undertake.
